Twin Creeks General Policy
1. Gate Fee
There is a $3.00 gate fee to enter Twin Creeks for everyone 11 years of age and over for League Play on weeknights. Weekend and tournament gate fees will vary, depending on the event. In return, you will receive a token worth $.50, redeemable towards food and beverage in the Sluggers Restaurant or Pitchers Sports Bar, and some video games. Your hand must be stamped at the front gate for re-entry into the complex. Twin Creeks may change the gate fee at any time for charity events, promotions or special events.
2. Food and Beverages
Twin Creeks does not allow food and/or beverages into the park.
(No ice chests or glass containers). We do allow unopened plastic
water bottles or empty squeeze bottles. Security personnel have
the right to confiscate glass containers, ice chests and cans.
3. First Aid
Paramedics,
fire, police and ambulatory services are within minutes of the facility.
In case of injury or security, we will need permission from the
victim or family member before we can call for assistance. Under
no circumstances will a Twin Creeks employee or umpire administer
first aid.
4. Lost and Found
"Lost and Found" is located in the Sports Office. To retrieve
an item, you must be able to describe it in detail. We strongly
recommend labeling all equipment. Twin Creeks is not responsible
for lost or stolen items. Articles are kept for a short period of
time and then given to charity.
5. Pets
No pets are allowed, EXCEPT 'Seeing Eye Dogs'.
6. Misconduct
Managers and players ejected/removed from a game should leave the field
and immediate vicinity without further abuse in order to prevent harsher penalties
that may be imposed.
7. Weather
Games may be postponed or rescheduled due to weather conditions.
This call is made by the Twin Creeks Sports Director. In the case
of questionable weather, call (408) 534-1169. This is the number
for questionable weather and/or status of a possible rainout decision.
It will be updated by 3:00 pm on the day of league games or by 5:00
am for tournaments on weekends. Games will be rescheduled at Twin
Creeks' convenience. It is the managers' responsibility to call
Twin Creeks for your rescheduled game and time.
8. Batting Cages
Twin Creeks has six slow-pitch pitching machines in the batting cages. There are also three fast-pitch softball machines and three fast-pitch baseball machine, each throwing at different speeds to accomodate all age ranges. All participants must be at least 18
years of age. The cost is $2.00 (4 tokens). The batting
cages are open from 4:00 p.m. - 10 p.m. weekdays, and 9 a.m. - 3
p.m. weekends. These hours are subject to change due to holidays,
leagues, tournament schedules, and weather conditions. Practice
swings are not allowed outside the batting cage area. Please use
batting cages with caution and at your own risk. Helmets can be obtained in the Red Barn Proshop and must be worn inside the cages.
9. Practice Fields
Fields may be available for practice when not in use for league
or tournament play. Fees are to be paid in advance. Please call for rates.
Reservations can be made through the Sports Office.
10. Standings
Please verify that standings are correct week by week. All teams are
responsible for incorrect standings. We strongly suggest that you keep
track of all your league standings so when the playoffs arrive, you can
figure out the tie-breakers in your league. We allow one week after your
game to make changes to incorrect standings. No changes will be made after
that time.
11. Line-up Cards
Please complete the blue or gold cards on both front and back with first
and last names. Initials are not proof of player eligibility for playoffs.
It is the manager's responsibility to make sure substitutes are put on
the card upon entering the gam
12. Registration
Please fill out registration forms completely. Fees may be paid by one
check, one credit card or cash. There is a $25.00 service fee for each
returned check and the team will automatically be dropped until other
arrangements are made. Your team may sign up for any available night in
the division you request, but is subject to change to accommodate fair
and competitive leagues. Refunds will be given only when Twin Creeks is
unable to fill a league. There is a "no refund" policy for teams who wish
to drop out after league play has started. All teams are identified with
a team number for league and a number for tournaments. Please refer to
your number so that we may serve you more efficiently.
13. Restaurant and Sports Bar
All hard liquor must be consumed inside the bar only. No pitchers of
beer are allowed past the balcony areas. Any person participating or intending
to participate in a game shall refrain from consuming alcohol before or
during the game. Persons may be ejected from the premises. Any individual
involved in a confrontation in Twin Creeks Sports Bar will be subject
to the same penalties as if it took place on the field.
14. Uniforms
There is not a uniform requirement at Twin Creeks, however when possible,
teams should dress alike.
15. Twin Creeks reserves the right to make any amendments or
adjustments deemed necessary to promote fairness and equality in
league play. (i.e., equalizer rules, run spots, etc.)
16. Twin Creeks intends to provide a professional, knowledgeable
and courteous staff; this includes the umpires. Please contact the
manager on duty or call our office during business hours if any
of our staff does not meet these standards. Umpire complaint and
suggestion forms are available outside the Sports Office.
